Allegro Dance Company travels to many competitions with the “Allegro Competition Troupe”. The competition troupe is currently made up of girls and boys from ages 8-16. Our dancers compete in many different styles of dance such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical. The troupe undergoes extensive training that teaches them teamwork, styles of dance, and how to performance for an audience.
Dancers of the Competition Troupe are selected by the Artistic Director. These dancer receive personal privates with their choreographer and are required to attend group rehearsals on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Our competition troupe is a demanding responsibility and are for students that are searching for experience and exposure in the dance world.
